Bourgogne : la famille Frey rachète le Château de Corton André

The Frey family, owner of Chateau La Lagune in Bordeaux and Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aine in the Rhone, has bought Chateau de Corton André in Burgundy for an undisclosed fee.

Bordeaux : la MAIF rachète la totalité du Château Dauzac (Margaux)

Le Château Dauzac qui était détenue par une filiale de la MAIF, en association avec les vignobles André Lurton, passe totalement sous le contrôle de la compagnie d'assurance. Le vendeur possédait 42% du Bordelais, grand cru classé 1855, et ce depuis 1992. Cependant, les vignobles André Lurton resteront les négociants de Château Dauzac, tout en se recentrant principalement sur leur gamme de domaines familiaux. Château Dauzac produit un vin du Médoc principalement sous l'AOC Margaux.

Constellation Brands, a leading beverage alcohol company, announced that it will acquire the Casa Noble tequila brand. The transaction includes the Casa Noble trademark and related assets. It is expected to close in September 2014 and is subject to customary closing conditions. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
